Microsoft software overview

Microsoft software is available to Uniting Church congregations, agencies, members and ministers through a Microsoft ‘academic’ agreement at pricing levels significantly below retail. Information on the products available, terms of license, and an online ordering system all appear on this site.

To order software:

  1. Select products from the Office or Windows pages and pay for them securely using your credit card or PayPal account.
  2. Enter your licensee details.

Please note that Microsoft have advised us that the trial versions of Office and other software available online are not compatible with the product/license keys that are available through the Uniting Church’s ‘academic’ license arrangements. If you’re happy with the trial software and want to purchase a legitimate license, you’ll need to uninstall the trial version and re-install the software from the ‘academic’ media that is distributed through Uniting.biz.

This is not the way everyone will choose to buy Microsoft software (see the Pros and Cons page), but it can provide substantial discounts on much of the common software people use. Uniting.biz cannot provide support for these products in any way, and acts only as an agent to provide special pricing on Microsoft software for the Uniting Church in Australia.
